Finally finish writing up this post. Took like 2 wks to write them lor... Hahaha.... Cant really remember much also.. Haha... It may take some time b4 the photos at loaded. So pls be patient. =)First day of trip (18th April) Monday
Checked in our luggages at 5pm. Feeling excited and anxious because we'll be going for more than a month. Boarded the plane at 7.30pm. Took photo in the plane and started chatting away. Didnt really slp in the plane. We were chatting about studies and stuff and playing games... We drank red wine also. The plane gave a VIOLENT landing at Melbourne airport. We were so shocked at that time.

Second day (19th April) Tuesday
Reached Melbourne at about 4 plus in the morning. When we were crossing the custom, we got held up coz we were asked not to say that we're there for ITP. Wah... So scared at that time. I could not understand wat the ang mo trying to ask me then he tot i dun understand english. Haha... Dor lied that Vincent is her cousin. In the end, they found out that we're there to study and they said that we should not have lied as studying there is not an offence. We were let off afer like 1 hr of investigation. So dumb lor... I did not know y we should lie lor. Make things difficult for everyone. Anyway, some of them were asked to open up their luggages. Luckily, i was not one of them. Haha... Went to the entrance to meet Sam who picked us up. Took maxi cabs to our apartment and settled down. Didnt really slp much coz we were too excited. Haha... Met up with Sam at 2pm and he brought us to look and walk around. Went to this Yarra river and took some photos over there. Went to some restaurant to have our dinner.

Third day (20th April) Wednesday
Woke up early in the morning and walk to RMIT for some briefing and start of our ITP. It was such a tiring and cold day. A lady come and told me and Dor to look for her at offs 13 and we were like... huh?! Wat talking her sia... We finally got her meaning after repeating herself for a few times. After some briefing by the in-charge named Karl Land (chao lang), we ad a "Short" briefing on soil. Fell aslp while listening to the Prof. Barry (Mario). IT was actually quite interesting but they did not provide chairs for us so very tiring. We learnt most of the things in our environmental studies in Poly liao so was able to follow him.Ate bread we brought for lunch. So pathetic sia! Coz Sam say that the food there are very expensive and they are not very nice also. After lunch, Karl brought us around the building to see see look look. After which me and Dor went to look for the lady in charged of us. She assigned some notes for us to read up in and said that we can leave. We then went to walk walk around the city.We nearly lost our way home. Asked some passer-by how to get to our place and guess wat, it was just beside the road we were standing. Haha...
(21st April) Thursday
Woke up quite late today coz had a very tiring day ytd. Went to look for the Miss Brazil. She brief us on how to use the SPME device and gas chromatogram and within half an hour, she said that we can leave already. Again, me and Dor went shopping. We walked pass a chocolate shop so we grabbed some in case we cant find the shop again coz we might not know the way there. Haha... Another day passed!
(22nd April) Friday
Field trip to little river. Took a lot of pics and a video at the place. There were kangaroos, sheeps, etc... Took photos with the sheep and lots more. One whole day passed again without us realising it. Went to eat Korean food with Mdm Ho. She paid for the meal. How kind of her. Actually we tot of asking her to treat us but after wat we notice, it seem that she dun treat. Went to Crown casino and tried our luck but... Unlucky me!! Lost about $20 plus. Didnt know how to play the jackpot, so malu. Haha... Jing Wei won quite a lot then he treated us to desert. Anyway, after that we went to the "safeway" supermarket to buy some 'home brand' stuff. The things are not bad afterall.

(23rd April) Saturday
Met up with Mdm Ho to go Great Ocean Road, one of the places of interest. The ride was like 4 full hours lor... Slpt in the mini van. It was so uncomfortable. Went to the first destination and took photos of the stones. The pple in the photo small small then the stones big big. Haha... Next, to the second destination then to the third. It is a nice place to go for sightseeing. It's such a wonderful thing to do. After that, we've to sit in the van for another 4 hours. Omg... Had stiff neck after the journey back home. Me, yong and Fandi then went to 7/11 to buy slupee when we were on our way home. So cold sia. Haha.. Sat at the bench near our apartment to finish the drink. We chatted for a while also. After that, we went back to our apartment to slp.

(24th April) Sunday
Went to Victoria market to shop. Bought some things and went back to apartment to prepare for the steamboat at night. Bought a lot of food for the steamboat. Actually, we invited Mdm Ho for the steamboat but she went to Philip Island so she did not receive the msg. Took photos as we ate. The food was really a lot!!! Couldnt finish them. There goes another day and end the wk!

Field trip to Melbourne water. (Wastewater treatment plant) The lady was real good at explaining things. Took quite a few photos and a short video clip too.
(30th April) Saturday
Went out in the morning for a walk. Actually decided t o take a train to the boxhill to see the place coz we heard that a lot of asians go there to shop. When we reached the train station, we saw that the price is $9.50 for the whole day of transport. Found it too expensive so we tot of making it early the next day so it will be more worth it. So we walked around and came near this victoria habour. Big gustd of wind came blowing towards our direction and we were tring hard to get away from the wind. At 6 in the evening, Prof Phil came to pick us up for the football match at telsradome. I looked like a fool when this PHD guy name Micheal was explaining to me how exactly football is being played. I was like requesting him to repeat himself so many times coz partly, i dun understand and partly, the place was very noisy. After the match, Micheal was suggesting that we go and grab some pizza for dinner but Doreen said that she wan to slp. Then we ended up cooking some chapalang food for dinner.
(1st May) Sunday
Went to boxhill wif Zhen Yang, Vincent, Doreen and Jing Wei. Found out that the place is almost full of market and that's all. So we decided to explore and see if there is other place good for shopping. So we asked the person in the shop at the train station. She told us that Ringwood is a nice place where we can do our shopping. Went all the way there and indeed, that is a nice place wif a big shopping centre. Walkedaround and bought some stuff back. Went back to a restuarant near our apartment to grab something for dinner. Vincent and Jing Wei paid abt $18.90 for some leaves. We kept teasing them after the incident. Haha...
(2nd May) Monday

(3rd) Tuesday
Was asked to go to Queen Victoria market to get some types of pepper sample for analysis. Ended up shopping for abt an hour. Bought soft toys for myself. Haha... Oops... Anyway, we went back to the safeway near RMIT to buy the pepper. In the evening, we ate veggies for dinner. Me and Yong then went to a shop jus behind our apartment to eat the pancake wif ice cream and chatted for a while before we headed home.

Stayed at home and rot coz didnt have the mood to go out!
(8th) Sunday
Planned to go to the zoo but had to take cab so we decided not to go ahead. We decided not to waste the ticket so we went to South Yarra, Chapel street where we did some shopping. Didnt really shop much coz the shops there sell all the expensive stuff lor... Haha... Saw a shop where they sell books so we went in and take a look. Ended up staying inside for like more than an hours.

Was asked to go to the Prahran market to get some pepper samples for analysis. Went with Zenilda in a tram. Got there and took some time b4 we found the place selling the pepper samples. We bought $70 worth of pepper.. So expensive sia!! Haha.. Took some photos as we walked. Bought macadamia nuts on our way back also.

(13th May) Friday
Went to RMIT for half day b4 we head to Victoria market to get some food for the Philip Island. Bought some of our own stuff as we shopped for the food. Haha... Shun pian ma... Anyway, we went home to pack our things and waited for Prof Phil. 1hr plus of travelling. Guess Prof Phil was very tired on that day. Stopped at a shop selling fish and chips to have our dinner. Sat at some tables near the shop and have our food. It was such a memorable one... We stood there and looked at the stars in the sky. It's so full of stars!! Crossed the bridge and reached Philip Island. Was so excited when we saw the apartment. So big... Settled down went for a walk at the beach. It was real dark at the beach. Couldnt seem much there. Drew something on the sand and took photos. Went back to the apartment and got some slp b4 the nxt round of walk at the beach. Woke up at 2 am then went to the beach again wif yong, fandi and jing wei. Walked all the way to the bridge to see the sunrise. Took 2 hrs too walk there. Took a video and some photos of the sunrise. So beautiful! It was so cold at that time. I was wearing 3 jackets and i was still feeling cold. It was abt 3 degrees lor... After that, we walked back again. I got lost at the beach and did not know which exit to go through. Was so scared at that time. Called them and not a single person ans my phone. Felt so lost and cold! Anyway, some kind passer-by managed to help us out.

(14th May) Saturday
Prof Phil brought us in the van to see the place we will be looking at the penguins. Then in the evening, at 6pm, we went to see pengiuns. I took a pic wif the BIG penguin walking around shaking people's hand. Haha... So cute sia... Went in to look at the real pengiuns. All so small de... Not wat i expected lor.. Haha.. Anyway, they're also very cute.... They come out of the beach in grps lor... A lot of them sia... We saw them coming up and got washed back into the water. Haha.. So funny... After that, we went back to the apartment for bbq. Took photos AGAIN!! HAha... These photos are for memory wat... Must take as many as possible rite... lol... Another day at the Philip Island passed.

(15th May) Sunday
Prof Phil brought us to a beach near our apartment. We then took some photos before heading to do some kind of hiking. Took photos along the way. Finally, after abt an hour, we came to the end. On our way back, we climbed to the side there to take photos. Then i was happily walking to this small way, where they asked me to stop. I ended up standing in the middle of nowhere. I looked down and was so shocked. I was at such a high place and below is the beach. I then try to walk back slowly. Headed back to the van. The way was full of sand and it was so difficult to walk. Went back to clear up the apartment and left Philip Island. Took a photo at our apartment with Prof Phil when we reached.

Prepared powerpoint slides for our presentation on the coming Thursday. It was real tough as me and Dor didnt really know wat they expect of us. Tried our best to finish up the slides and put in all the necessary stuff needed.

Celebrated Doreen's birthday at the Singapore chom chom. The food is not bad.

Had our presentation today. I was dumbfolded when cam to the results part. Coz i didnt really know how to explain in a way that they will understand. Be it my language or the things i said. Haha... Anyway, managed to finish up the whole presentation. Some of the people were praising us and we didnt know how to react coz we knew that we did not give a good presentation. HAha....
(20th May) Friday
Went to Draculas in the evening. Got scared by the monsters there. So bad sia, they all... Went in the ghost train, but it was not scary at all lor... Well, is heng ah... Sat down and got a cup of drink. The drink is not bad. Here comes the food... And the show... And finally the desert.. Secretly took some photos in the area. Also took some with the scary people... Haha... Real scary lor.. Anyway, i really enjoyed myself sia... The show especially... Drank wine and after which...

Met up wif Elly's fren at Melbourne central. He brought us to DFO (Direct Factory Outlets). Walked for quite a distance before we reached the place. The things there are not really very cheap ba.. Probably a little. Anyway, shopped for abt 4 hrs plus before we headed home again to end the day.

Went back to RMIT to touch up on the final experiment we have not done. Got away early coz Prof Phil is not around. Haha... At night, was waiting to use the com but ended up falling aslp. Haha.. Too tired! After that, we went to Melbourne Museum to take some photos. Take until quite late.

Told the in-chrge that we'll be touching up on our report at home and she agreed to it. We ended up shopping at Melbourne central. Then off we went to explore the city. Took quite a lot of photos b4 we headed home. Had some wine with Sam. After finishing the first bottle, we went with him to get some more wine from his house. Bought some tidbits too. Haha... At night, me, elly, jing wei, yong and fandi went to the playground near our apartment. Well.. It's not the first time. After that, i drank a lot but wasnt really very drunk.

(25th May) Wednesday
Went to look for St patrick's church in the morning. Passed by the Sacred Heart church. Took some photos there b4 we head on the look for St Patrick. Found it and took a lot of photos there. Went to RMIT to pass our in-charge the report and took photos with them. In the evening, we went to the Crown buffet again. Didnt really eat much coz we had been there before. So i juz eat the fish which is real nice. Yong got me 6 pieces of the fish then i couldnt finish them all. Piangz... So many lor... Anyway, went to Melbourne Museum and took some more photos. and then went back to apartment then Sam bought wine and we drank together.

(26th May) Thursday
Woke up at 8 plus in the morning to pack our stuff and clear up the things we have left in the apartment. Kinda miss Melbourne already. Couldnt bear to part with the apartment. Got so used to it leh.. Anyway, took some video and photos of our things and went downstairs to clear our bills of the apartment. Booked the maxi cab and the moment i board the cab, i start to miss our apartment already. Omg... Really really cant bear to leave. 38 days of feelings with the place. Really a lot of things happened during the trip. Be it in the apartment, outside the apatment, it's melbourne! Reached the airport and waited for a while b4 we checked in our luggages at abt 1 pm. A lot of our luggages were overweight. Haha... And our hand-carry things are like so many lor... Was told that we cant bring the flowers with us. Felt so sad!! Was at a lost. Brought them in anyway. Didnt get stopped. So lucky!! Went in and boarded the plane. After about a half-an-hour wait, were told that the cargo door spoiled and there will be a delay of 4 hrs. Gotta carry all the things down the plane. Omg... Took some photos. We were given a voucher of $14 to buy our dinner. So i went to buy some food at abt 6 pm. Had a real BAD headache while waiting. Slpt at the lounge. At 7 pm, we were told that the plane will be departing at 830pm. Finally, the plane departed. Watched 'Meet the fockers' in the plane. So funny sia! Anyway, was served our 2nd round of dinner at 11pm and follwed by supper at 12 midnight sg time which is 2 am aus time. Omg... Eat until siao lor... Finally, here we are, back in singapore, with the HOT place... Bleh... Missing Melbourne lotz...
